Widex Allure AI RIC R D Hearing Aids
Widex Allure AI RIC R D combines Widex’s natural sound processing with an on-demand AI program for additional help in noisy environments. Available in the Allure AI 440 and 330 levels, it features a discreet rechargeable receiver-in-canal design, direct smartphone streaming and personalised control through the Widex Allure app.
On-demand AI support in noise
Clarity Boost uses a dedicated AI co-processor to reduce competing background noise and make speech easier to follow in challenging environments.
Unlike an always-active AI mode, Clarity Boost is a separate listening program that you can activate when extra support is needed. It can be selected using the hearing aid’s physical control or through the Widex Allure app, making it useful in situations such as busy restaurants, family gatherings and crowded social settings.
Natural sound for everyday listening
Outside the Clarity Boost program, the W1 chip powers the broader Allure sound platform.
Allure PureSound™ with ZeroDelay™ technology processes sound with extremely low delay, helping reduce the artificial or hollow effect that can occur when amplified sound mixes with sound entering the ear naturally. Speech Enhancer Pro also helps improve the balance between speech and surrounding noise while maintaining awareness of the wider environment.
Rechargeable everyday convenience
The built-in lithium-ion battery provides up to 23 hours of use under Widex testing conditions, including six hours of streaming or AI-mode use.
Three charger options are available:
- Standard Charger for everyday charging
- Portable Charger for charging away from a power outlet
- Charge n Clean, which charges, dries and sanitises the hearing aids
A full charge takes approximately four hours, while a 30-minute charge can provide around four hours of use. Actual battery life depends on hearing loss, streaming, Clarity Boost use, selected features and battery age.

The Allure AI 440 adds more fine-tuning channels, programs and environmental classifications. It is the stronger option for people who regularly move between complex or frequently changing listening situations.
Direct smartphone streaming
Allure AI supports direct streaming from compatible iPhone and Android devices. Calls, music, podcasts and other media can be transmitted directly through the hearing aids.
Bluetooth LE Audio is also built in, while hands-free communication and call control are supported with compatible Apple devices. Device compatibility should be checked before purchase.
Personalised app control
The Widex Allure app allows users to adjust volume, change programs and access Clarity Boost from a compatible smartphone.
The hearing aids can also connect to the Widex TV Play 2 for television streaming and the RC-DEX remote control for straightforward volume and program adjustments.
Discreet and flexible fit
The receiver-in-canal design places the main hearing aid discreetly behind the ear, with a thin receiver wire leading into the ear canal.
Different receiver lengths and a choice of instant or custom earpieces allow the hearing aids to be professionally fitted for comfort and retention. Two receiver strengths are available, supporting hearing losses up to severe.
