He holds a Master of Clinical Audiology from the University of Melbourne and is a full member of Audiology Australia. Because he knows every major brand inside out, his advice is genuinely independent, focused on what helps you, not on selling a particular product.
Over the years he has fitted everyone from first-time wearers nervous about the whole idea, to lifelong users frustrated that their current aids just aren’t keeping up. That range matters: whatever your situation, he has almost certainly helped someone in your shoes before.

I spent years fitting hearing aids face to face in my Melbourne clinics, and I kept seeing the same thing. People were paying far too much, feeling rushed through a sales process, or missing out entirely because the nearest good audiologist was hours away. I knew there had to be a better way.

“My passion for work is in the field of Indigenous health. I have been regularly visiting the North West Queensland Gulf for the last 5 years. I travel monthly to these remote areas to provide support to local communities where there is little to no access to eye and ear services.
During these visits I work closely with GPs and help provide glasses, hearing aids and lots of other interventions that make a significant improvement to the quality of life of recipients. We also conduct research which relates directly to the Closing the Gap Initiative.”

Lachlan is just a pleasure to deal with. I purchased my hearing aid online late last year. I was a bit apprehensive about making such an important and expensive purchase without having the backup of a local clinic. I needn’t be worried. After having a technical difficulty due to my own negligence Lachlan arranged for repairs and shipments in a timely manner. He has been outstanding, helping with after sale support and communications.

I obtained a full auditory test from Lachlan in Sept, 2018, after becoming quite dissatisfied with my previous specialist, when my hearing loss was very difficult to cope with, particularly at work. New hearing aids were purchased and a series of small issues were effectively solved by Lachlan at short notice, without dispute. Sadly, I am now at 85% hearing loss, with new ear-moulds currently due pre-Xmas, with Lachlan once again squeezing me into his tight schedule. I am now a 75-year-old retiree who remains physically active and it is always a pleasure to deal with such a genuine person. I recommend his services to all.

You will receive highly attentive professional service. This is my experience after 4 other audiologists. You will find Lachlan, the audiologist, is extremely patient and accommodating. In my recent visit to Lachlan, I was pleasantly impressed with the time and service I received with regard to my hearing aids. I have been fortunate enough to been a patient of Lachlan for the last 5 years after removal of a tumour on my right side I lost all hearing on that side making life difficult considering I have impaired hearing on my left side. I have worn hearing aids for many years prior to my surgery unfortunately my prior audiologist couldn’t help me after the surgery. I can’t thank Lachlan enough for magnificent treatment and service. I so happy with the ongoing service they are my optometrists as well and give great service and prices. I refer all my family and friends to Lachlan for caring, professional and efficient services. Lachlan is fabulous. He is kind and caring and has been looking after my hearing aid needs for years.
