ReSound Vivia RIE 61 combines advanced hearing-in-noise technology, disposable-battery convenience and modern wireless connectivity in a discreet receiver-in-ear design. It automatically adapts to changing surroundings to help make conversations clearer while preserving awareness of the sounds around you.

The premium Vivia 9 RIE 61 includes Clear Focus, which creates a narrow listening beam towards speech in front of you while reducing competing sounds from other directions. This provides additional support during one-to-one conversations in restaurants, social gatherings and other difficult listening situations.
Vivia 7 and Vivia 5 retain ReSound’s core speech and noise-management technology, with progressively fewer processing channels and adjustment options.
Vivia RIE 61 can be fitted with standard LP, MP, HP or UP receivers to support a broad range of hearing needs.
It is also compatible with ReSound’s optional M&RIE receiver. M&RIE adds a third microphone inside the ear canal, allowing the hearing aid to use the natural shape of your outer ear when collecting sound. This can support more natural direction, depth and spatial awareness.
The RIE 61 uses a replaceable size 312 zinc-air battery. This makes it suitable for people who prefer replacing batteries rather than charging their hearing aids each night.
Battery life will vary depending on hearing needs, receiver strength, streaming time, enabled features and the brand and quality of the batteries used.

Vivia RIE 61 has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, with protective nanocoating applied to its components.
This provides protection against perspiration, rain and everyday moisture. The hearing aids are not waterproof and should be removed before swimming or showering.
