Oticon Intent miniRITE Hearing Aids
Oticon Intent miniRITE is a discreet, rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid designed to provide
clearer, more balanced access to the sounds around you. Built on Oticon’s Sirius™ platform, it combines
second-generation artificial intelligence, advanced noise management and modern wireless connectivity in
Oticon’s smallest rechargeable miniRITE design to date.
Intelligent support in changing environments
Oticon Intent uses Deep Neural Network 2.0 and MoreSound Intelligence™ 3.0 to analyse the surrounding sound
environment and separate useful sounds from distracting noise.
Rather than simply amplifying the loudest sound in front of you, Oticon’s BrainHearing™ approach is designed
to preserve access to the wider sound scene. This can help speech remain clearer while maintaining awareness
of other important sounds occurring around you.
4D Sensor Technology in Intent 1 and 2
Oticon Intent 1 and Intent 2 add 4D Sensor Technology, which combines information from four sources:
- Conversation activity
- Head movement
- Body movement
- The surrounding acoustic environment
The hearing aids use this information to recognise when the wearer’s listening needs change and adjust the
level of support accordingly. For example, they may provide different assistance when moving through a busy
room, participating in a group discussion or speaking directly with one person.
Rechargeable everyday convenience
The compact miniRITE design uses a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and provides up to 20 hours of
use, depending on streaming, hearing loss, listening environments, battery age and enabled features.
A short 15-minute charge can provide up to four hours of hearing aid use. The hearing aids are also IP68
rated for resistance to dust and everyday moisture, although they should not be treated as waterproof.

Streaming and smartphone control
Bluetooth® LE Audio supports direct streaming from compatible Apple, Android and Windows devices. Depending
on device compatibility, users can stream calls, music, television and other audio directly through their
hearing aids and make hands-free phone or video calls.
The Oticon Companion app allows users to discreetly adjust volume and listening programs, check battery
information and access remote support from their hearing-care professional.
Four performance levels
Oticon Intent is available in four levels. Intent 1 offers the most advanced noise reduction, processing
resolution and fitting flexibility. Intent 2 retains 4D Sensor Technology with slightly reduced processing
options. Intent 3 provides many of the core sound and connectivity features without the user-intent sensors,
while Intent 4 offers the essential Intent experience for less demanding listening needs.
