Created to support natural hearing, Vivia helps make conversations clearer while preserving awareness of the sounds happening around you.
Intelligent support in background noise
ReSound Vivia uses a DualChip system that combines ReSound’s natural sound-processing platform with a dedicated Deep Neural Network chip.
The AI system has been trained using real-world speech and environmental sounds to distinguish voices from competing noise. Rather than simply blocking everything around you, it is designed to increase the contrast between speech and distracting sounds, helping conversations remain clearer in restaurants, gatherings and other difficult environments.
Vivia 9 adds Intelligent Focus, ReSound’s most advanced AI-powered listening feature. It automatically identifies speech and noise and provides additional support when you need to concentrate on a conversation in a challenging environment.
Small and comfortable microRIE design
The discreet microRIE hearing aid sits behind the ear, with a thin wire connecting to a receiver inside the ear canal.
A choice of standard receivers and optional M&RIE receivers allows your audiologist to tailor the fitting to your hearing needs. M&RIE places an additional microphone inside the ear canal, using the natural shape of your outer ear to support sound direction and spatial awareness.
Rechargeable all-day power
ReSound Vivia microRIE provides up to 30 hours of use on one charge under ReSound testing conditions.
Battery life is approximately 20 hours when streaming for half the day or when frequently using Intelligent Focus. Actual performance will vary depending on hearing loss, receiver strength, streaming, enabled features, sound environments and battery age.
A standard desktop charger provides straightforward daily charging. An optional Premium Charger includes an integrated power bank capable of providing up to three additional full charges away from a power outlet.

ReSound Vivia supports Bluetooth® Low Energy Audio for direct streaming from compatible iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
You can stream phone calls, music, podcasts and other audio directly through your hearing aids. Hands-free calling is available with compatible devices, allowing the hearing aids to pick up your voice without requiring you to hold your phone.
Auracast™ broadcast audio can provide direct access to compatible public and private audio broadcasts. The Auracast Assistant in the ReSound Smart 3D app helps you find and connect to available broadcasts using your smartphone.
ReSound Smart 3D app
The ReSound Smart 3D app allows you to adjust volume, change programs and personalise selected sound settings from a compatible iPhone or Android smartphone.
You can also check battery status, locate misplaced hearing aids and request remote assistance from your hearing care professional.
Ready for everyday wear
Each Vivia microRIE has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, with protective nanocoating applied to its components.
This provides protection from perspiration, rain and everyday moisture. The hearing aids should not be considered waterproof and should be removed before swimming or showering.
Three performance levels
ReSound Vivia microRIE is available in Vivia 5, Vivia 7 and Vivia 9 performance levels.
Vivia 5 provides the essential Vivia sound, connectivity and rechargeable features for everyday listening.
Vivia 7 adds more detailed environmental processing and stronger control of wind, sudden sounds and background noise.
